Tri-City Storm Visits Centura Elementary
On January 18th, Centura Elementary received a visit from the Tri-City Storm Hockey team. Their theme for the kids was “Go Out and Live.” They mostly talked about being fit, exercising, and eating healthy.
One of the games they played was a game called Stormy says, which is just like “Simon says” but using Stormy their mascot. The participants had a chance to win free hockey tickets. The visit by the hockey team got the kids excited about eating right and exercising. The students had a blast with the team and would like to see this happen every year. -Marissa Rincon
